Chris Kofinis is a Media Consultant and Strategic Advisor to Democratic candidates for federal and statewide office and Democratic Party committees. Throughout his political career, Kofinis has utilized traditional and new media to develop advanced communications strategies and multimedia message campaigns. Overall, Kofinis’ media campaigns have attracted widespread public/political/grassroots support, and have earned millions of dollars in earned media for his clients.

Kofinis’ political experience involves a number of political campaigns – both in the United States and internationally. During his political career, Kofinis has advised governors, was the Senior Advisor to 2004 Presidential Candidate Wesley Clark, and was the 2008 National Communications Director to the John Edwards Presidential Campaign. Internationally, Kofinis has advised political parties and candidates in Europe. Kofinis was also the communications advisor and message strategist to two of the most successful grassroots political campaigns in recent history – the 2003 Draft Wesley Clark Campaign and the 2005-2007 UFCW ”Wake-Up Wal-Mart” Campaign.

As a political analyst, Kofinis is also a regular commentator on politics and campaign strategy, appearing on MSNBC, CNN, FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC and Bloomberg TV, and has been quoted extensively in the Associated Press, Reuters, Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Washington Post, as well as other national and international news media. Before becoming active in politics, Kofinis was a professor at California State University where he taught political science. Kofinis holds a PhD in Political Science and is also the co-author (with Dr. Stella Theodoulou) of “The Art of the Game,” an exploration of the American political and policy process (October 2003).
